| メタノイア 悔い改めよ、そして福音を信じよ 堺ブロックチーム アルマンド神父 マルコ１：15 イエスは自らの使命に基づき民衆に立ち向かい、直にお言葉を述べられた。イエスは述べた、“悔い改めよ”。この福音における悔い改めるという言葉はギリシャ語の（メタのイア）に当たる。この（メタノイア）」という言葉は単に罪を悔いるということを意味してはいない。この言葉の文字通りの意味は、振り返り、向きを変えて、逆の方向に歩みだすことである。ここで、（悔い改める）とは、もしわたしたちが神から離れた道を歩んでいるならば、１８０度向きを変えることを意味する。この四旬節に神はわたしたちにこう述べられた。“主を探し求めよ”そして“主を探し求め１０回となく振り返れ”。 「悔い改めよ」という言葉の他に、イエスが述べたもう一つのことは福音を信じることである。わたしたちは主と同じ道を、ともに歩み続けることは難しいかもしれませんが、悔い改め正しい方向へ歩き出すことはできるかもしれない。そうであれば、神の恩恵に甘んじているのではなく、自らあやまちを払いのける人となるであろう。自らの心を御心で満たさなければ、悪なるものがわたしたちの日々を空虚なるものとし、わたしたちの最後をみじめなものとするだろう。 わたしたちを悔い改め、信じなければならい。わたしたちは振り返り、正しい道へと方向を定め、歩き続け、自らの心と魂を福音で満たさねばならない。 主なるイエス、あなたの言葉はわたしたちにとって、命であり、喜びであり、知恵であり、力である。私を御心で満たし、あなたに背くものすべてを退けるための力と勇気を授けてください。アーメン。 METANOIA "Reform your lives and believe in the gospel!" Fr. Armando T Mark 1:15 Jesus began His public ministry proclaiming a direct command and challenge to everyone He saw. He proclaimed the need to repent and reform. The word for repent in this Gospel passage text is the Greek word metanoia. This word does not simply mean to be sorry for our sins, as appropriate as this is. The word means literally to turn around and go in the opposite direction. This repentance means to make a 180-degree turn in our lives if the direction in which we are traveling leads us away from God. This Lent, God's Word tells us: "Seek the Lord while He may be found") and "Turn now ten times the more to seek Him". The second thing Jesus commands besides repenting is to believe in the gospel (Mk 1:15). It is possible to change our direction, but not continue walking along the way of the Lord. If so, we are like the man who swept the trash out of his life, but never let himself be filled with God's grace. Since he didn't fill his heart with the Holy Spirit, the things of the world, the flesh, and the devil filled the void in his life, and the final state of the man was worse than the first. We must both repent and believe. We must turn around, walk in the path of righteousness, keep walking, and fill our minds and hearts with the Gospel. Lord Jesus, your word is life, joy, wisdom, and strength for me. Fill me with your Holy Spirit that I may have the strength and courage to embrace your will in all things and to renounce whatever is contrary to your will for me. |
