| We are all missionary disciples Fr JEAN-MARIE KAZENGA I joined the Congregation of the Immaculate Heart of Mary in 2005. I made my first vows on September 8, 2010. I finished my theology in Cameroon in 2014, and was sent for missionary work in Japan. In 2017, I was ordained deacon in Takarazuka and, ordained as a priest in the Democratic Republic of Congo on April 28, 2018. After my ordination, I worked as an assistant priest in the Parish in Kakogawa. Since April I have been sent to Sakai block as Collaborator Priest. I thank God for His faithful love for me, giving me graces to persevere in my religious life and in my ministry as priest. Since my childhood my first dream was to become a missionary. I was always motivated by these words of Jesus: “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you .” Mt 28:19-20. All the baptized are agents of evangelization. Talking about this, what comes to mind are words of Pope Francis in the Apostolic Exhortation the Joy of the Gospel and I quote: “ In virtue of their baptism, all the members of the People of God have become missionary disciples (cf. Mt 28:19). All the baptized, whatever their position in the Church or their level of instruction in the faith, are agents of evangelization. Every Christian is a missionary to the extent that he or she has encountered the love of God in Christ Jesus: we no longer say that we are “disciples” and “missionaries”, but rather that we are always “missionary disciples”. If we are not convinced, let us look at those first disciples, who, immediately after encountering the gaze of Jesus, went forth to proclaim him joyfully: “We have found the Messiah!” (Jn 1:41). The Samaritan woman became a missionary immediately after speaking with Jesus and many Samaritans come to believe in him “because of the woman’s testimony” (Jn 4:39). So too, Saint Paul, after his encounter with Jesus Christ, “immediately proclaimed Jesus” (Acts 9:20; cf. 22:6-21). So what are we waiting for? [Francis, Apostolic Exhortation , Evangelii Gaudium, 120.] We are all invited to be missionary disciples as Pope Francis said that being a disciple means constantly ready to bring the love of Jesus to others, and this can happen unexpectedly at any time and place. 堺ブロックチーム ジャンマリー神父 私は4月から 堺ブロックの共同司牧メンバーとして派遣されました。神のはからいによって、私の最初の赴任先である加古川教会で 司祭としての生活を始めました。私は、いつも熱心に、勇気をもって福音の喜びを伝える、神父になりたいと思います。そして、常に信徒の皆さんと一緒に、信仰の道を歩むことができる神父になりたいです。 私は2005年に淳心会に入り、2010年に初誓願を立てました。そして2014年に来日しました。 2017年に、33歳で終生誓願を立てた後に宝塚教会で助祭叙階されました。そして、2018年4月28日にコンゴで司祭に叙階されました。その喜びの日、その忘れがたい司祭叙階の日は、コンゴの小教区の人々や、家族、友人、知人の温かい歓迎や歓待、そしてやさしさと情熱が、とても心に残っています。 司祭叙階された日から、そして、コンゴ滞在の間も、多くの人々が、主に願ったのは、良い牧者であるイエスの霊が、私を導いてくれるように、ということでした。 私にとって、子供のころからの一番の夢は、宣教師になって、福音を宣べ伝えることでした。そして私は、日本に派遣され、宣教師としてキリストを人々に紹介する夢がかないました。 宣教のため日本に派遣されましたが、福音宣教というイエスの宣教命令が、子供の頃から心に響きました「あなた方は行って、すべての民を私の弟子にしなさい。彼らに父と子と聖霊の名によって、洗礼を授け、あなた方に命じておいたことをすべて守るように教えなさい」（マタイ28、19－20） 教皇フランシスコは使徒的勧告で、最初の弟子たちに目を向けるよう私たちを招きます。次のように言われます「彼らはイエスのまなざしに出会った直後、喜んでそれを告げ知らせに行きます。『私たちはメシアに出会った』（ヨハネ1．41．）サマリアの女はイエスの会話の後すぐに、宣教者となり、多くのサマリアの人々が『女の言葉によって』（ヨハネ4.39）イエスを信じたのです。 パウロもイエス・キリストに出会った後にすぐ『この人こそ神の子である』と、イエスのことを宣べ伝えた（使徒言行録9．20）のでした。」そして教皇フランシスコは、私たちは何を待っているのでしょうかと尋ねました。福音宣教とは、この世界に神の国を現存させることです。キリスト者として福音を宣べ伝えながら、福音のあかしに生きていきましょう。 |
